Quality Assurance Analyst
Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to protect the reliability and overall quality of their software products. This person will combine hands-on manual testing with automation work, partner closely with development teams, and help guide fellow QA team members in automation best practices. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

This role is fully remote.

Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities

• Perform manual smoke, sanity, regression, and user acceptance testing to validate software before release.
• Build, maintain, and run automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
• Coach and mentor fellow QA team members on automation testing practices.
• Create, document, and carry out test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution.
• Partner with developers and stakeholders to make sure quality standards are consistently met.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Prepare and maintain test data, and share testing progress, reports, and recommendations.
• Assess and mitigate risks that could affect product quality.

Quality Assurance Analyst Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with manual smoke, sanity, regression, and UAT testing.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience coaching or mentoring QA team members on automation practices.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, including software testing and test automation.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, the SDLC, and core software quality assurance principles.
• Intermediate SQL skills, including querying and creating test data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience using an AI coding assistant is preferred.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or a Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or equivalent certification, is a plus.

Compensation: $24-$35/hr. (DOE)
