Senior Analytics Program Manager
Our client is seeking a Senior Analytics Program Manager to lead complex analytics and technology initiatives that transform data into meaningful business insights and scalable solutions. This role is ideal for a highly experienced technical leader who can navigate ambiguity, connect business priorities with technical execution, and influence cross-functional teams while maintaining a strong focus on quality, security, and long-term organizational value.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, or North Dakota. PST working hours are required with possible occasional travel.
Senior Analytics Program Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing evolution of analytics, decision-support, and data-driven solutions supporting business and operational objectives.
- Own program and solution roadmaps, establishing short- and long-term priorities while balancing stakeholder needs, technical dependencies, resources, and organizational goals.
- Drive complex technical programs from definition through delivery, managing scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, resources, quality, and cross-functional coordination.
- Partner with business, analytics, engineering, and technical leaders to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements, technical solutions, and measurable outcomes.
- Conduct and guide advanced data analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that inform business decisions and solution requirements.
- Establish meaningful performance measures and reporting practices to evaluate solution health, effectiveness, adoption, and overall business impact.
- Manage requirements, user stories, tasks, and program backlogs, ensuring teams remain focused on the highest-value priorities and deliverables.
- Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, communicating progress, resolving competing priorities, escalating issues, and maintaining alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to understand solution architecture, evaluate technical approaches, and provide input into designs that support scalability and long-term business needs.
- Identify program gaps, dependencies, and delivery obstacles proactively, recommending solutions and driving improvements across teams and processes.
- Ensure security, privacy, legal, quality, and documentation requirements are incorporated throughout solution planning and delivery.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to technical team members while promoting effective collaboration, continuous improvement, and consistent delivery practices.
Senior Analytics Program Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; master’s degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in technical program management, analytics, data-driven technology initiatives, or a closely related area.
- Extensive experience leading large, complex, cross-functional technical programs with responsibility for roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery outcomes.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated experience translating quantitative information into business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Strong understanding of databases, data architecture concepts, analytical technologies, and decision-support solutions, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Advanced experience with analytical and data technologies such as SQL, SAS, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or comparable tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work from ambiguous or evolving objectives and develop structured, incremental solutions that create measurable business value.
- Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, competing priorities, and cross-team dependencies.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills, including experience guiding technical teams, mentoring others, resolving stakeholder conflicts, and driving organizational alignment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships and communicate complex concepts to technical teams, business partners, managers, and executives.
- Experience developing research, analytical, or statistical methodologies and applying rigorous approaches to complex business or operational questions.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools or technologies to improve productivity, analytics, or decision-making is highly desired.
- Scrum Master certification or comparable Agile experience is preferred.
- Ability to occasionally work outside standard business hours and travel locally or out of state as business needs require.
