Product Line Manager
Our client is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Product Line Manager to help drive the planning, development, and execution of a global apparel product line. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of product creation, consumer and marketplace insights, and cross-functional collaboration who is passionate about sport, product innovation, and delivering high-quality apparel solutions.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Product Line Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and seasonal commercialization of assigned apparel product lines across multiple categories.
- Manage product line plans, visual assortments, prototypes, samples, and supporting documentation throughout the product creation process.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including design, development, planning, merchandising, and brand stakeholders, to deliver product objectives.
- Translate athlete, consumer, and marketplace insights into product line strategies and priorities.
- Maintain product line systems and ensure accurate tracking of styles, timelines, and seasonal deliverables.
- Conduct marketplace analysis, support product reviews, coordinate wear testing activities, and contribute to project-level problem solving.
- Monitor product readiness, seasonal flow, margins, and key milestones to support successful product launches.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners while representing the product line during presentations and key product review meetings.
Product Line Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–5 years of product management or product line management experience.
- Strong understanding of global product strategy, consumer insights, and marketplace trends.
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to build credibility across cross-functional and external partnerships.
- Experience with textiles, trims, and apparel product development.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and calendar management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong product and style sensibility with a passion for apparel and sport.
- Experience with product line management or merchandising systems is preferred.
- Previous experience with a global athletic or consumer products brand is highly preferred.
Compensation: Up to $48/hr. (DOE)
