Sales Operations Lead
Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Sales Operations Lead to build and optimize the internal infrastructure that powers a growing sales organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an evolving environment and enjoys creating structure from the ground up, partnering cross-functionally to drive alignment and efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong operational thinking, systems expertise, and the ability to translate sales strategy into scalable processes and tools.
This role is a hybrid model in Vancouver, Washington.
Sales Operations Lead Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of CRM systems, ensuring data integrity, pipeline visibility, and adoption across the sales team.
- Map, document, and continuously refine end-to-end sales processes from lead intake through close and handoff to delivery.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and leadership to define and evolve service offerings, pricing structures, and go-to-market strategies.
- Act as a key operational bridge between Sales and Marketing, aligning data, messaging, and campaign insights to support revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and forecasting tools to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Identify process gaps and operational inefficiencies, implementing scalable solutions that improve consistency and execution across the sales lifecycle.
- Support proposal development, deal tracking, and contract workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency in sales execution.
- Maintain and standardize sales documentation, including workflows, tools, and best practices.
- Assist in the design and administration of sales compensation structures, including tracking performance and commission-related inputs.
- Participate in sales calls and team discussions to gain context and continuously improve operational alignment and effectiveness.
Sales Operations Lead Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or business operations within a services, consulting, or technology environment.
- Proven experience building or optimizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365) and managing pipeline processes.
- Strong understanding of the full sales lifecycle, including longer-cycle, solution-based or partner-driven sales motions.
- Experience developing sales processes, documentation, and operational frameworks from the ground up.
- Background supporting proposals, contracts, pricing, and sales documentation in a consulting or professional services setting.
- Familiarity with sales compensation structures, commission tracking, and performance reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and leadership teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable workflows.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
