Software Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of business-critical applications and data exchange solutions. This role will focus on building and maintaining system integrations, developing scalable application components, and ensuring reliable data movement between enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate is a seasoned software engineer with deep integration experience, strong programming expertise, and a passion for creating efficient, secure, and maintainable solutions.

This role is fully remote.

Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain application integrations that support data exchange between internal and external business systems.
• Build, enhance, and support custom software applications, services, and automation solutions using modern development practices.
• Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and other integration mechanisms to facilitate secure and reliable data transfer.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications, system architecture, and support procedures.
• Monitor, test, and optimize application performance, data integrity, and system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, quality assurance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain development standards.
• Support implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements across enterprise technology platforms.

Software Engineer Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience utilizing C#, Visual Basic, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting system integrations, including APIs, webhooks, secure file transfer methods, and related technologies.
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL, XML, JSON, scripting languages, and other modern development technologies.
• Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful services, OpenAPI specifications, and API documentation frameworks.
• Experience developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise-level application integrations.
• Proficiency with modern integrated development environments (IDEs), source control systems, and software development lifecycle practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
