Project Manager
Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact initiatives across a dynamic and evolving organization. This individual will bring a strong balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple concurrent projects, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, brings experience supporting transformation efforts such as mergers and acquisitions, and consistently delivers results within scope, timeline, and budget expectations.
This role is fully remote with occasional travel. Applicant’s residing in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah are preferred.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, complex projects from initiation through close, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and business objectives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and financial forecasts.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across business and technical teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and interdependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and integration efforts where applicable.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Establish and track key performance indicators to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, tools, and governance standards.
- Facilitate decision-making, remove roadblocks, and maintain accountability across project teams.
Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience, including ownership of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, business transformation, or integration efforts strongly preferred.
- Background in healthcare or related regulated industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of formal project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PMBOK).
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
- PMP certification (or equivalent) preferred.
