IT Product Manager
Our client is seeking an IT Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, governance, and continuous improvement of a critical enterprise technology platform. This individual will serve as the primary owner of platform capabilities, user experience, data quality, and stakeholder engagement while partnering across technical and business teams to drive adoption, operational efficiency, and long-term business value. The ideal candidate combines strong product ownership experience with exceptional communication skills, a user-centered mindset, and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex enterprise environment.
This role is a remote model. Applicants must be located in Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, or North Dakota.
IT Product Manager Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap, strategy, and backlog for a key enterprise technology platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technology priorities.
- Partner with architects, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver high-value product outcomes.
- Establish and maintain data governance standards, quality controls, reporting processes, and lifecycle management practices to ensure platform accuracy and reliability.
- Design and optimize user experiences tailored to technical teams, business partners, and leadership audiences to improve adoption and engagement.
- Lead platform configuration and administration activities, including metadata structures, reporting, dashboards, user access, and release management.
- Drive integration and automation initiatives across connected enterprise systems to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen data consistency.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, user research, and feedback sessions to identify opportunities for platform enhancements and process improvements.
- Develop business cases, present recommendations to leadership, and communicate roadmap updates, priorities, and platform performance metrics.
- Lead change management activities related to platform enhancements, process updates, and user adoption initiatives.
- Ensure platform documentation, governance processes, integrations, and operational procedures remain scalable, sustainable, and well maintained.
IT Product Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, platform management, or a related technology leadership role.
- Hands-on experience administering, configuring, and optimizing LeanIX, including metadata modeling, reporting, integrations, automation, and governance best practices.
- Proven experience owning product roadmaps, managing backlogs, prioritizing requirements, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Demonstrated proficiency utilizing AI-powered productivity tools, including Copilot or similar technologies, with strong prompting skills and the ability to produce high-quality outputs efficiently.
- Experience designing user-centered solutions and persona-based experiences that support diverse stakeholder groups and drive platform adoption.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience developing and presenting business cases to executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and enterprise platform administration principles.
- Experience leading system integration, automation, or digital transformation initiatives across interconnected enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM), Application Portfolio Management (APM), or related governance frameworks preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience and experience conducting user research, usability analysis, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
