IS Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced IS Project Manager to lead complex healthcare technology initiatives from planning through implementation. This individual will excel at coordinating cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities, and driving projects to successful completion while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate combines healthcare industry knowledge with proven project leadership skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to navigate organizational change effectively.

This role is fully remote.

IS Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent information systems and technology projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget expectations.
• Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, resource plans, and governance documentation to support successful execution.
• Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and operational stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational priorities.
• Facilitate implementation, integration, user training, and deployment activities to support smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
• Manage stakeholder communications, identify project risks, and proactively resolve issues that could impact project outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors while fostering collaboration and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze project challenges, perform root cause assessments, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

IS Project Manager Qualifications

• Previous experience managing projects within a healthcare, hospital, clinical, or related healthcare services environment.
• Demonstrated success leading healthcare technology, information systems, biomedical engineering, or comparable technical initiatives.
• Strong project management experience with the ability to oversee multiple priorities and shifting deadlines simultaneously.
• Proven ability to build relationships, gain stakeholder support, and influence decision-making across diverse teams.
• Experience developing project plans, governance documentation, implementation strategies, and executive-level project communications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation: $40-$45/hr. (DOE)
