Senior Retail Brand Designer
Our client is seeking a Senior Retail Brand Designer to create compelling retail environments and brand experiences that bring consumer-focused concepts to life. This is an opportunity for a highly creative, hands-on designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, balances strategic thinking with execution, and can independently drive multiple retail design projects from concept through production while maintaining exceptional creative standards.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Senior Retail Brand Designer Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of innovative retail environments, branded displays, and immersive in-store experiences that strengthen consumer engagement.
• Develop creative concepts, visual storytelling, and environmental graphics while translating ideas into production-ready design solutions.
• Partner closely with creative leadership and cross-functional internal and external teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with brand objectives.
• Produce high-quality presentations, concept boards, sketches, and visual communications that clearly convey design intent to stakeholders.
• Create scalable retail design standards and implementation guidelines to ensure consistency across multiple store formats and programs.
• Balance creative vision with hands-on production work, contributing directly to design development rather than serving solely in a leadership capacity.
• Apply knowledge of materials, graphics, digital experiences, and spatial design to develop engaging retail environments.
• Stay current on emerging design trends, consumer experiences, technology, and retail innovation to inspire new creative solutions.

Senior Retail Brand Designer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Eight or more years of professional brand design experience demonstrating advanced creative concept development, visual communication, and design execution.
• Strong portfolio showcasing retail environments, branded experiences, environmental graphics, and consumer-facing design projects. Portfolio submission is required.
• Proven experience designing for retail spaces, store environments, merchandising programs, or experiential brand activations.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote, and SketchUp.
• Strong conceptual sketching, ideation, and visual storytelling skills with the ability to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication skills with experience working alongside multidisciplinary creative teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities without compromising creative quality.
• Experience supporting international retail programs is a plus.
• Experience with After Effects, Premiere, Miro, Figma, or Unreal Engine is preferred.
• Previous experience with a global consumer brand is beneficial but not required.

Compensation: Up to $63.33/hr. (DOE)
