Strategic Sourcing Manager II (Remote)
Our client is seeking a collaborative and strategic sourcing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation and analytical skills, excels at balancing business objectives with risk management, and enjoys leading cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence and long-term value.

This is a remote role. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho and will work PST hours.

Strategic Sourcing Manager II Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for complex service categories while driving cost savings and supplier performance.
• Lead contract negotiations, sourcing events, and supplier relationship management to support business objectives and mitigate risk.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver procurement solutions, ensure policy compliance, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor market trends, evaluate supplier capabilities, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Mentor team members, promote best procurement practices, and support supplier diversity and organizational initiatives.

Strategic Sourcing Manager II Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with extensive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain expertise.
• Proven experience negotiating complex contracts, developing sourcing strategies, and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities with experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with procurement technologies, enterprise systems, and contract lifecycle management platforms; industry certifications and healthcare or professional services sourcing experience are a plus.
