Strategic Sourcing Manager III (Remote)
Our client is seeking a strategic procurement professional who excels at building trusted partnerships, leading complex sourcing initiatives, and driving measurable business value. This individual will combine strong analytical thinking, negotiation expertise, and cross-functional leadership to develop innovative sourcing strategies while balancing cost, quality, compliance, and long-term supplier performance.

This is a remote role. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho and will work PST hours.

Strategic Sourcing Manager III Responsibilities

• Lead complex strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and contract development for high-value indirect spend categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies that optimize costs, reduce risk, and support long-term business objectives.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers to drive informed decision-making and successful outcomes.
• Analyze spend data, market trends, and business requirements to identify sourcing opportunities and improve procurement performance.
• Champion continuous improvement by strengthening sourcing processes, supplier management practices, and procurement governance.

Strategic Sourcing Manager III Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field with 10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management experience; MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience leading complex sourcing events, contract negotiations, and category management for indirect spend, preferably within healthcare services or pharmacy.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, financial analysis, and contract development.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders, lead cross-functional initiatives, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Professional procurement or supply chain certification preferred, with exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and change management skills.
