Senior IS Project Manager
Our client is seeking a Senior IS Project Manager to lead a critical technology workstream within a complex, large-scale healthcare facility initiative. This role will oversee planning and execution across technical, operational, and vendor teams, ensuring technology activities remain aligned with broader program milestones and readiness objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on project leader who can navigate a highly cross-functional environment, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from delivery teams to executive leadership.

This role is on-site in the Seattle Washington metro area.

Senior IS Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of a major information systems and clinical technology workstream supporting a large-scale healthcare facility project.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource needs, and deliverables while coordinating with broader program leadership.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration among technology teams, project managers, operational stakeholders, leadership, service teams, and third-party vendors.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively identifying potential impacts to implementation timelines and operational readiness.
• Coordinate technology readiness activities to ensure systems, infrastructure, services, and supporting teams are prepared for key project and facility milestones.
• Serve as a primary point of coordination for workstream stakeholders, providing clear communication regarding progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and required actions.
• Facilitate issue resolution and decision-making across teams, escalating critical concerns when appropriate and driving items through closure.
• Support financial oversight by tracking workstream labor and resource costs, identifying potential variances, and providing budget-related reporting to program leadership.
• Oversee vendor coordination, procurement dependencies, resource allocation, and sequencing of technology-related activities.
• Monitor the quality and completion of project deliverables to ensure requirements, timelines, and organizational expectations are met.
• Maintain accurate schedules, status reports, project documentation, presentations, and other program artifacts required for stakeholder and vendor reporting.
• Conduct phase and project reviews, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities to strengthen processes and future project execution.

Senior IS Project Manager Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management, preferably leading complex technology initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, highly integrated projects or workstreams with significant dependencies, risks, and operational impacts.
• Experience within a large healthcare environment, hospital activation, facility opening, construction-related technology program, or similar complex setting is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical teams, business groups, executives, and external partners.
• Proven experience with vendor management, resource coordination, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and project financial tracking.
• Strong proficiency with project planning and management tools, including Gantt charts, resource tracking, scheduling, status reporting, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Excel, Word, Teams, Planner, and Copilot.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level presentations, status updates, schedules, and project documentation.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and drive work forward with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in healthcare, engineering, construction management, information technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
