Senior SEC Reporting Analyst
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced public company reporting environment and enjoys working at the center of financial reporting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with organization, collaboration, and a desire to grow into broader corporate accounting leadership opportunities.
This role is on-site in Dallas, Texas.
Senior SEC Reporting Analyst Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and coordination of external financial reporting deliverables and required public company filings.
- Manage the collection, organization, and validation of financial data used for internal and external reporting activities.
- Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entry preparation, ledger analysis, and financial statement support.
- Prepare account reconciliations and maintain accuracy across assigned corporate accounting records and reporting systems.
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting and finance teams to support reporting compliance, technical accounting research, and process improvements.
Senior SEC Reporting Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2–3+ years of experience in public accounting or SEC/public company reporting.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, corporate accounting processes, and public company financial reporting requirements.
- Experience preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and supporting monthly close processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP, consolidation, and financial reporting platforms.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a collaborative mindset and interest in long-term professional growth; CPA preferred.
Salary: Up to $120K/year + Bonus (DOE)
