Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a people-first leadership style. This individual will play a key role in enhancing day-to-day accounting operations while mentoring an established team and improving processes. The ideal candidate is communicative, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and consistency to a growing environment.
This role is on-site in Beaverton, Oregon.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end close, and preparation of financial statements for leadership review.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing training, guidance, and ongoing performance support.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls across all accounting functions.
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, maintain transparency on priorities, and communicate progress on key initiatives.
- Evaluate and enhance existing processes, leveraging systems and Excel-based reporting to improve efficiency and data visibility.
Accounting Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, with demonstrated experience overseeing general ledger and financial reporting processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems; ability to extract, analyze, and report on financial data.
- Experience in multi-entity or multi-location environments is preferred.
Salary: $110K-$130K/year. (DOE)
