Senior Accountant – Reporting & Tax 
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant – Reporting & Tax to support critical financial reporting, audit, and tax functions within a mission-driven organization. This individual will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution while partnering across departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills, exceptional organization, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial results.

This role is fully remote.

Senior Accountant – Reporting & Tax Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting activities, including month-end close coordination and management reporting.
• Support external audit engagements and serve as a key liaison with audit and tax advisors.
• Oversee tax compliance activities, including annual filings and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting processes.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to identify risks, drive efficiencies, and support organizational objectives.

Senior Accountant – Reporting & Tax Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation required.
• 7+ years of accounting, financial reporting, audit, or tax experience.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Compensation: $70-$80/hr. (DOE)
