Product Line Manager
Our client is seeking a collaborative and consumer-focused Product Line Manager to help drive the development and evolution of performance footwear products. This individual will play a key role in guiding product creation initiatives from concept through launch, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative product stories, athlete insights, and market opportunities to life. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with exceptional communication skills, a passion for sport, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Product Line Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and support footwear product creation initiatives from initial concept through final product delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
- Partner closely with product creation, design, development, merchandising, and marketing teams to align product strategies and execution plans.
- Develop compelling product presentations, seasonal product narratives, and executive-level materials to communicate opportunities, strategies, and recommendations.
- Gather and synthesize consumer, athlete, market, and competitive insights to help inform future product concepts and line planning decisions.
- Manage key product information, timelines, samples, and project milestones to ensure alignment across cross-functional stakeholders and critical checkpoints.
Product Line Manager Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product creation, consumer insights, market research, merchandising, or a related product-focused discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing products through development cycles and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills with experience building high-level presentations using Keynote and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both upstream and downstream partners.
- Experience within the footwear, sporting goods, retail, or consumer products industries is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of running products, athlete insights, consumer behavior, or performance sport categories is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: Up to $74/hr. (DOE)
