Senior Brand Designer
Our client is seeking a Senior Brand Designer who brings a deep passion for storytelling, exceptional creative craft, and a strong understanding of the outdoor industry. This individual will play a key role in bringing seasonal campaigns to life through compelling visual design and art direction, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to create memorable consumer experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and is energized by the opportunity to elevate creative work inspired by outdoor culture and adventure.

This role is on-site in Portland, Oregon.

Senior Brand Designer Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of visually compelling brand campaigns that translate storytelling concepts into impactful creative experiences across multiple channels.
• Develop and deliver high-quality design assets, art direction, and presentation materials that align with seasonal initiatives and brand objectives.
• Partner closely with creative leaders, marketers, designers, production teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring integrated campaigns to life.
• Contribute innovative ideas and creative solutions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to design excellence.
• Present concepts and creative rationale with confidence, incorporating feedback while ensuring deliverables remain on schedule and aligned with project goals.
• Stay informed on emerging trends across outdoor culture, design, photography, fashion, media, and technology to continuously inspire and elevate the work.
• Support a collaborative and positive creative environment by sharing ideas, fostering strong partnerships, and contributing to the growth of the broader design team.

Senior Brand Designer Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of professional experience in brand design, art direction, or related creative disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience developing creative campaigns within the outdoor industry, including seasonal work connected to activities such as hiking, trail running, or similar outdoor pursuits.
• Portfolio showcasing recent, high-quality work that highlights strong storytelling, visual execution, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Figma and Keynote, with the ability to create polished design deliverables and compelling presentations.
• Strong understanding of design principles across multiple mediums, including graphic design, photography, motion, and digital experiences.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively within collaborative team environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience supporting campaigns for globally recognized lifestyle, sport, or outdoor brands is a plus, particularly within outdoor performance categories.

Compensation: Up to $49.33/hr. (DOE)
