Commercial Product Sales Manager (West Coast)
Our international client is seeking a hands-on Commercial Sales Manager to lead and develop a growing commercial sales team while driving customer expansion, operational excellence, and long-term account success. This is an ideal opportunity for a relationship-driven sales leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, enjoys balancing strategy with execution, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to support both customers and team members. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, commercial acumen, adaptability, and a customer-first mindset.

This role is open to West Coast-based applicants in Washington, Oregon, and California, located within reasonable driving distance of an international airport. The position is currently fully remote, with plans to transition to a hybrid work model as the company expands its physical footprint. Up to 50% travel required.

Commercial Product Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of commercial sales professionals, providing training, performance support, and day-to-day leadership.
  • Manage and grow complex B2B customer accounts, overseeing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through implementation and ongoing relationship management.
  • Partner cross-functionally with leadership, operations, finance, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives and customer deliverables.
  • Oversee commercial processes including contract coordination, proposals, pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Support customer installations, account transitions, and broader team coverage as needed, including travel to customer sites and other territories.

Commercial Product Sales Manager Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B/commercial sales experience, including experience managing complex customer accounts and revenue growth initiatives.
  • 2+ years of direct people leadership experience, including supervising, mentoring, and developing sales representatives.
  • Experience working with tangible product sales, equipment leasing, industrial solutions, container-based products, or adjacent industries such as pharmaceuticals, transportation, or heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM and Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage pipelines, reporting, and customer communications effectively.
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments, traveling up to 50%, lifting 50 pounds, and adapting to a highly flexible, entrepreneurial business environment.

Salary: $95K-$100K + Bonus. (DOE)
