CNC Mill Machinist – Day Shift
Our client is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist to support day-shift manufacturing operations by operating CNC milling equipment and producing precision components to established specifications. The ideal candidate has foundational machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work reliably and independently while maintaining quality and production standards.

This role is on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon working Monday–Thursday from 6AM-4:30PM.

CNC Mill Machinist Responsibilities

• Operate vertical CNC mills and/or horizontal machining cells, including loading material, changing parts, and following established setup documentation and work instructions.
• Produce machined components according to blueprints, verifying dimensions and tolerances throughout production to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts using precision measuring instruments and coordinate with Quality Control when additional inspection or approval is required.
• Monitor machining operations and make routine adjustments or part changes as needed to support efficient production.
• Complete secondary manufacturing operations, including tapping, deburring, cleaning, and finishing machined components.
• Safely use shop equipment and tools, including material-handling hoists, automatic drills, screwdrivers, and precision inspection equipment.
• Maintain organized work practices and complete additional machining or production duties as assigned to support workflow and production goals.

CNC Mill Machinist Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience operating CNC vertical mills, horizontal machining cells, or similar CNC equipment.
• Basic understanding of machining processes and the ability to produce parts according to blueprint requirements and established work instructions.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment, including hoists rated up to 500 pounds, along with common powered shop tools.
• Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality, accuracy, and following established manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while effectively collaborating and communicating with machinists and other production team members.
• Dependable work ethic with a strong commitment to reliability, attendance, and meeting production expectations.
• Ability to read and understand written work instructions and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation: $28-$32/hr + Bonus. (DOE)
