Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Our client is seeking a proactive and strategic Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead collections efforts across a complex, multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate brings strong business judgment, persistence, and a collaborative approach to resolving payment challenges while improving processes, reducing financial risk, and building productive relationships across operational teams.
This role is on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Accounts Receivable Supervisor Responsibilities
- Lead company-wide collections strategy and execution across multiple operating companies, driving timely payment and reducing aged receivables and bad debt exposure.
- Review aging reports, manage customer collection activity, and resolve billing discrepancies, payment delays, and documentation-related issues.
- Partner with Accounting, Billing, Operations, Sales, and other stakeholders to address collection challenges and improve receivables performance.
- Oversee customer credit evaluations, credit limits, risk assessments, cash application support, and receivables-related month-end activities.
- Supervise and develop AR staff while producing weekly receivables reporting and driving continuous improvement of collection processes, controls, and procedures.
Accounts Receivable Supervisor Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of accounts receivable, collections, and credit management experience, with construction billing and collections experience strongly preferred.
- Experience within construction, heavy industrial, engineering, specialty contracting, industrial services, equipment rental, or project-based manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead collections efforts, analyze aging portfolios, resolve complex payment issues, and improve AR processes across a complex organization
- Strong understanding of receivables accounting principles, credit risk, internal controls, and operational finance, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with a large ERP or accounting platform such as SAP or Oracle.
Salary: $77K-$82K/year. (DOE)
