Payroll Analyst
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant payroll operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-motivated, and proactive in communicating with cross-functional partners while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and support an exceptional employee experience.

This role is fully remote.

Payroll Analyst Responsibilities

• Process and support multi-state payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll delivery.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts, prepare payroll reporting, and support general ledger balancing and financial documentation.
• Administer payroll taxes, deductions, retirement plan transactions, and other payroll-related processes in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payroll issues, support audits, improve workflows, and maintain payroll system integrity.
• Provide guidance, training, and responsive customer support to employees and internal stakeholders while recommending process improvements.

Payroll Analyst Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 0-2+ Years of experience processing multi-state payroll, including payroll tax administration and account reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll within Workday; ADP and ADP SmartCompliance experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated communicator who follows through on commitments, collaborates effectively, and proactively asks questions when clarification is needed.

Compensation: $20-$21/hr. (DOE)
