Strategic Intelligence Research Analyst
Our client is seeking a Strategic Intelligence Research Analyst to join a global enterprise’s intelligence function on a contract basis. This role suits a sharp, curious writer who follows world events closely and can turn complex information into clear, useful insight for employees across the organization. You will sit on the Strategic Intelligence team and partner with security, sports marketing, communications, and other business groups.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Strategic Intelligence Research Analyst Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and contextual analysis on global developments, and assess how they may affect the business.
• Write, edit, and distribute a daily news briefing that summarizes key world events for employees across the company.
• Monitor and report on geopolitical events, supply chain disruptions, and marketplace trends.
• Research athletes and sports-related developments to support the company’s marketing and brand interests.
• Prepare timely written analysis in response to ad hoc questions from internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with security, sports marketing, communications, and fellow intelligence team members to keep insights relevant and aligned with business needs.

Strategic Intelligence Research Analyst Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in communications, writing, policy, publishing, research, or a similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, concise summaries.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Solid awareness of world news, political science, and current global affairs.
• Expertise in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Curiosity and a drive to keep learning.
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Familiarity with InDesign or graphic design is a plus.
• Fluency with AI writing tools such as Copilot is a plus.
• Experience with Campaign Monitor or Workvivo is a plus.

Compensation: Up to $38.03/hr. (DOE)
