AI Program Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced AI Program Manager to lead the execution and continued advancement of a high-visibility AI program within a global business environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive, collaborative leader who understands the evolving relationship between AI and business, thrives in ambiguity, and can mobilize diverse stakeholders to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

This role is on-site in Beaverton, Oregon.

AI Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations and continued development of an established AI innovation program, maintaining momentum across active initiatives and emerging use cases.
  • Manage AI initiatives from intake and evaluation through development, governance, implementation, and broader adoption.
  • Establish and drive recurring program cadences, including working sessions, intake reviews, stakeholder check-ins, executive updates, and performance reporting.
  • Partner across technology, analytics, operations, legal, governance, brand, and other business functions to align priorities, address dependencies, and advance AI adoption.
  • Develop and refine AI business cases, establishing clear ownership and connecting initiatives to measurable outcomes such as revenue impact, productivity gains, or expanded business capabilities.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to VP and executive-level stakeholders by communicating progress, surfacing risks, resolving roadblocks, and translating complex AI topics into clear business implications.
  • Support responsible AI adoption through approved tools, enablement, training, and collaboration with governance and technology partners to help successful solutions scale across the organization.

AI Program Manager Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, strategy, digital transformation, technology, data, AI, or similarly complex enterprise initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional programs and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, emerging capabilities, business applications, and the impact of evolving AI technologies on business strategy and operations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging regularly with VP and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to establish operating structures, manage competing priorities, and independently drive programs forward in environments without a predefined playbook.
  • Collaborative, energetic, and self-directed approach with a passion for AI, strong business judgment, and comfort navigating ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI-enabled productivity or development tools is preferred, particularly tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Cowork; a software engineering background is not required.

Compensation: Up to $64.79/hr. (DOE)
