Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives and drive successful project delivery across cross-functional teams. This individual will bring exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills while effectively managing project scope, budgets, timelines, and risks in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and experienced in guiding large-scale projects from initiation through implementation while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho. PST working hours are required.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale and highly visible technology projects or multiple concurrent initiatives from planning through successful implementation.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and project documentation.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks by developing contingency plans and resolving issues before they impact project delivery.
- Monitor project scope, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and third-party partners to achieve project objectives.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide regular executive-level status updates, and communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support organizational change management efforts, helping teams successfully adopt new processes, technologies, and business solutions.
- Resolve resource conflicts and project roadblocks while promoting collaboration and accountability across project teams.
- Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards, business requirements, and organizational expectations.
Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of progressive project management experience leading enterprise-level or large-scale technology initiatives with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects while consistently delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strong experience with project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, risk assessment, and contingency planning.
- Familiarity with PMI methodologies and PMBOK best practices.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred; change management certifications are a plus.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and effectively collaborate with business partners, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to leadership.
- Experience with HealthStream or Conga applications is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours with flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend project activities.
