Vice President of Sales (Health Foods)
Our high-growth, PE backed food manufacturing client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Commercial Sales who thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and excels at building strong, trust-based partnerships. This leader will balance high-level commercial strategy with day-to-day execution, driving revenue growth while mentoring a small, high-impact sales team. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, passionate about the active nutrition lifestyle, and energized by scaling branded business within the food manufacturing space.

100% remote from anywhere in the US, with regular travel throughout the US and Canada. Strong preference for candidates based in Oregon.

Vice President of Sales Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of key accounts, strengthening long-term customer partnerships.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new branded business opportunities.
  • Own forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin optimization to meet financial targets.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Operations, and Finance to align on product and customer strategies.
  • Coach and develop a small sales team while building scalable processes, KPIs, and pipeline discipline.

Vice President of Sales Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales or commercial leadership, with prior Director or VP-level responsibility.
  • Sales experience in food manufacturing required. Healthy snacking, natural foods, functional snacking, active nutrition, or better-for-you (BFY) food experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing key accounts and driving growth within a complex sales environment.
  • Strong business acumen with hands-on experience in forecasting, pricing, and margin management.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring teams and collaborating cross-functionally.

Salary: $150K-$170K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
