Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys building scalable accounting processes while maintaining strong attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who combines technical expertise with a process improvement mindset and is excited to grow alongside a rapidly expanding organization. The ideal candidate is collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with long-term strategic initiatives.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities, month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting support.
- Oversee accounts payable operations while developing scalable processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures to support future growth.
- Partner with leadership to improve accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and optimize ERP and financial systems.
- Support audit preparation, financial reporting, and the integration of newly acquired businesses into accounting operations.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve accounting issues, improve efficiency, and contribute to ongoing finance projects.
Senior Accountant Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant experience with month-end close and full-cycle general ledger accounting.
- Experience supporting multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and accounting process improvements in a growing organization.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting best practices.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with cloud-based AP or expense management platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; CPA, public accounting, acquisition integration, or professional services experience is a plus.
Salary: $80K-$95K/year. (DOE)
