Senior QA Manager
Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior QA Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives across a complex portfolio of enterprise applications within a healthcare environment. This individual will drive the development of scalable QA frameworks, establish governance standards, and elevate quality practices across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare domain experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can influence stakeholders while building structure and accountability across programs.

This role is fully remote. Occasional travel is required.

Senior QA Manager Responsibilities

• Establish and lead enterprise-wide QA strategy, standards, and governance across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Assess current-state quality and testing practices and implement scalable improvements to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Define and enforce quality gates, testing frameworks, and best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with business, technical, and delivery teams to align QA efforts with project timelines and organizational priorities.
• Develop and deliver centralized reporting, dashboards, and metrics to provide leadership visibility into quality performance.
• Identify risks, gaps, and inconsistencies in testing practices and proactively implement solutions to improve outcomes.
• Influence cross-functional teams to adopt standardized QA processes and drive accountability for quality results.
• Provide strategic oversight of testing activities, ensuring alignment without direct hands-on execution.
• Translate complex testing concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Deliver early impact by producing actionable insights and improvements within the first 60–90 days.

Senior QA Manager Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in quality assurance, QA leadership, or testing strategy within enterprise environments.
• Proven experience in healthcare systems or highly regulated industries, with strong understanding of domain-specific workflows.
• Demonstrated success establishing QA governance, frameworks, and scalable testing processes across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of software/application testing methodologies and the full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience designing and delivering dashboards and reporting using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project and tracking systems.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; certifications are a plus.
