Digital Product Manager
Our client is seeking a strategic and collaborative Digital Product Manager to help shape and enhance a high-visibility ecommerce digital experience. This role is ideal for a product professional who thrives in fast-paced agile environments, can translate business needs into actionable product requirements, and enjoys partnering across technology, design, analytics, and business teams to deliver impactful digital solutions that improve the customer journey.
This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts.
Digital Product Manager Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, UX/design, and analytics partners to define, prioritize, and deliver digital product enhancements that support ecommerce growth and customer experience objectives.
- Own product definition activities for assigned initiatives, including gathering business requirements, translating needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
- Drive agile product execution by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, SCRUM ceremonies, and cross-functional development coordination.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure product features are delivered effectively, on time, and aligned with business expectations.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, validate functionality against requirements, document defects, and coordinate issue resolution prior to release.
- Analyze digital performance metrics, customer behavior, and business insights to identify optimization opportunities and inform future product enhancements.
- Partner with UX and design teams to help shape intuitive, customer-centered digital experiences and ensure business requirements align with intended user journeys.
- Support product launch planning, release readiness activities, stakeholder communications, and post-launch performance monitoring.
- Facilitate alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders by providing clear documentation, project updates, and decision support throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assist in managing ongoing product priorities under the guidance of senior product leadership while helping execute roadmap initiatives across ecommerce and digital capabilities.
Digital Product Manager Qualifications
- 3+ years of digital product management experience supporting ecommerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer digital platforms.
- Experience working within software development environments and strong familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
- Proven experience writing business requirements, product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for digital product initiatives.
- Hands-on experience coordinating and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) for digital product releases.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce customer journeys, digital commerce functionality, and online customer experience best practices.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering, UX/design, analytics, and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, document decisions, and drive clarity across multiple teams.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting digital product launches, iterative enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation: Up to $54/hr. (DOE)
