JDE Analyst
Our client is seeking a JDE Analyst who thrives at the intersection of Accounting and Technology, bringing strong JDE expertise alongside practical accounting knowledge and a solutions-oriented mindset. This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon, Washington, Ohio, or Georgia.

JDE Analyst Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional expert for JDE, supporting ongoing ERP operations, troubleshooting, system enhancements, and optimization across financial business processes.
• Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional system solutions, clearly communicating technical requirements and process improvements.
• Support ERP-related projects including upgrades, enhancements, reporting improvements, testing, integrations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze system issues, data discrepancies, transaction errors, and workflow inefficiencies to identify root causes and drive effective resolution.
• Assist in developing reporting solutions and data analysis efforts, including working with SQL-based queries, ERP reporting tools, and emerging business intelligence platforms such as Power BI.
• Provide support across core accounting operations including reconciliations, general ledger analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial process troubleshooting when project demands shift.
• Collaborate with developers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with operational and financial requirements.
• Support documentation, end-user training, and change management efforts related to ERP process updates and system enhancements.

JDE Analyst Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, ERP systems analysis, financial systems support, or a related hybrid finance/technology function.
• Current hands-on JDE experience is strongly preferred.
• Senior Accountant-level accounting experience with strong knowledge of reconciliations, general ledger processes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial controls.
• Experience partnering closely with IT teams, developers, or systems resources to support ERP functionality, reporting, or process improvements.
• Working knowledge of SQL sufficient to support reporting, troubleshooting, or technical collaboration.
• Exposure to reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms is preferred.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or financial systems optimization initiatives.
• Background within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or similarly complex operational environments is strongly preferred.
• Experience working within larger, enterprise-scale organizations with structured financial and systems processes.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and drive practical solutions.
• Confident communication style with the ability to influence stakeholders, stand firm when needed, and collaborate effectively across both technical and business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Salary: $90-$105K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
