Senior Compensation Analyst
Our client is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst who brings a strong balance of analytical rigor, business acumen, and collaborative influence. This individual will excel at translating complex data into actionable insights, partnering effectively with stakeholders, and navigating evolving regulatory and organizational needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in guiding compensation strategies that support both business objectives and employee engagement.
This role is on-site in Houston, Texas.
Senior Compensation Analyst Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor on compensation programs, providing guidance on job evaluations, pay decisions, and salary structures.
- Lead annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and incentive planning, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct market benchmarking, internal equity analyses, and financial modeling to support data-driven compensation decisions.
- Support executive compensation initiatives, including preparation of materials for regulatory filings and leadership reporting.
- Ensure compliance with compensation regulations, audits, and reporting requirements while maintaining documentation and governance standards.
Senior Compensation Analyst Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive compensation experience within a corporate environment, including executive compensation exposure.
- Strong expertise in compensation strategy, market pricing, job architecture, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting SEC-related reporting requirements, including Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to build models, dashboards, and interpret complex datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree or CCP certification strongly preferred.
Salary: $124K-$150K/year. (DOE)
