Project Coordinator
Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of business initiatives by coordinating project activities, maintaining organized documentation, and ensuring teams remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, balancing multiple priorities, and helping drive projects forward through strong organization and communication.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Idaho and work PST hours.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities
- Support multiple phases of project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project closeout activities.
- Maintain project schedules, documentation, budgets, and tracking tools to ensure information is accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks to keep initiatives on track.
- Monitor project progress by tracking timelines, resources, risks, issues, and change requests, escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Prepare project status updates, reports, and presentations for project teams, leadership, and key stakeholders.
- Assist with maintaining project governance, documentation standards, and compliance with established project management methodologies.
- Support quality assurance efforts by monitoring project deliverables and ensuring required documentation is completed and retained.
- Gather project information from cross-functional teams and help facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of smaller projects or workstreams with guidance from senior project management staff.
Project Coordinator Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Two or more years of experience supporting projects in a project coordination or project support capacity.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies and the full project lifecycle.
- Experience coordinating schedules, documentation, reporting, budgets, and project tracking activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management coursework, certification, or formal training is preferred.
