Physician & Clinician Compensation Analyst
Our client is seeking a Physician & Clinician Compensation Analyst to support provider compensation administration, contract analysis, and financial reporting within a collaborative healthcare environment. This individual will partner with leadership, providers, recruiters, payroll, and other internal stakeholders to deliver accurate compensation analysis, administer provider agreements, and help improve compensation processes through strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.

This role is on-site in Vancouver, Washington.

Physician & Clinician Compensation Analyst Responsibilities

  • Analyze provider compensation, develop financial models and scenario analyses, and provide recommendations that support informed business decisions.
  • Administer physician and clinician employment agreements and contract revisions while ensuring alignment with compensation plans, organizational policies, and established financial and compliance guidelines.
  • Serve as a primary resource for compensation-related questions by researching pay issues, resolving inquiries, and partnering with providers, recruiters, and operational leadership.
  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of provider compensation programs, policies, and processes.
  • Conduct market compensation analyses, salary survey participation, and comparative reporting to support fair market compensation and productivity evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain reporting related to provider compensation, productivity measures, work RVUs, FTEs, budgeting, and financial variance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows by designing, testing, and implementing tracking, auditing, and reporting processes.
  • Coordinate provider contract administration, compliance activities, and compensation-related database management.
  • Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to support compensation processing, payroll-related matters, and provider leaves of absence as needed.
  • Create reports, presentations, and communication materials that promote understanding of compensation programs and support operational decision-making.

Physician & Clinician Compensation Analyst Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, human resources compensation, or a related field, including experience supporting clinician compensation plans and provider contracting.
  • Working knowledge of CMS Relative Value Units (RVUs), CPT codes, provider compensation structures, and provider contracts.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret, analyze, and present complex data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of business and management principles with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvements, workflow enhancements, and policy updates.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and employee leaves of absence is preferred.
