MS Power Platform Specialist
Our client is seeking a motivated MS Power Platform Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft-based business solutions. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with experience across the Microsoft ecosystem who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, improving business processes, and developing scalable automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
This role is a hybrid model in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
MS Power Platform Specialist Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, to support internal business operations and client initiatives.
- Build automation solutions utilizing Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, to streamline document creation and other business processes.
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services to improve workflows and support business needs.
- Migrate, organize, and validate data from Google Workspace into SharePoint while maintaining data integrity and creating improved metadata structures and automation.
- Evaluate and support the transition of collaboration and communication workflows into Microsoft Teams, confirming best practices and assisting with remaining implementation activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess SharePoint site structures, permissions, and access requirements across Microsoft 365 environments.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, provide project updates, and present proposed solution designs for review and approval.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Technical Design Documents (TDDs), and Functional Design Documents (FDDs), to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while communicating project progress and escalating issues as needed.
- Support future Microsoft-based workflow and shared mailbox management initiatives as project needs evolve.
MS Power Platform Specialist Qualifications
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience developing workflow automations using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, or related Microsoft technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps and Azure AI capabilities.
- Experience supporting SharePoint migrations, data organization, metadata management, or Microsoft 365 collaboration environments.
- Ability to evaluate business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Experience creating clear technical and process documentation for end users and support teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage work independently while balancing multiple priorities and communicating project status effectively.
