Marketing Technical Writer
Our client is seeking a Marketing Technical Writer to transform complex scientific and engineering concepts into compelling, customer-focused content that supports product adoption and business growth. This role serves as a key link between technical innovation and market engagement, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop clear, credible messaging that resonates with both technical and business audiences. The ideal candidate combines strong technical writing expertise with the ability to communicate the value of advanced technologies in a highly specialized B2B environment.

This role is fully remote.

Marketing Technical Writer Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality technical content, including application notes, white papers, technical briefs, conference papers, articles, and other customer-facing materials.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical subject matter experts to translate complex technologies into clear, differentiated market messaging.
• Create compelling narratives that connect technical capabilities to customer challenges, business outcomes, and real-world applications.
• Partner with field and customer-facing teams to develop sales enablement materials that support customer discussions and technical solution positioning.
• Interpret technical data, validation results, and application findings to build credible use cases and customer success stories.
• Support thought leadership initiatives through technical publications, conference content, and industry-focused communications.
• Ensure all content maintains a high level of scientific accuracy, consistency, and clarity while remaining accessible to diverse audiences.
• Contribute technically grounded content to broader marketing initiatives that strengthen market awareness and product positioning.

Marketing Technical Writer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience creating technical content for complex products, technologies, or scientific applications.
• Strong ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to engineers, scientists, business stakeholders, and customer audiences.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, research and development, product, applications, or customer-facing teams.
• Understanding of technical B2B marketing environments and the ability to connect product capabilities with customer value.
• Strong research, interviewing, and information synthesis skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Semiconductor, advanced instrumentation, nanotechnology, or related high-technology industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, metrology technologies, or analytical instrumentation is highly desirable.
• Experience authoring technical papers, industry publications, conference presentations, or similar thought leadership content preferred.
• Professional proficiency in Japanese (written and verbal) is highly preferred, and experience working within global or Japanese business environments is considered a strong advantage.
