Customer Services Representative
Our client is seeking a Customer Services Representative to join a collaborative, customer-focused team dedicated to supporting families and delivering an exceptional service experience. This role is ideal for a compassionate, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment, enjoys helping others, and can confidently navigate a variety of customer inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

This role is fully remote. Scheduled shifts may fall anywhere within extended business hours of 6 AM–7 PM Pacific Time to support customer coverage needs.

Customer Services Representative Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer support through phone, email, chat, and other communication channels while creating positive experiences for families and community members.
  • Resolve customer questions, concerns, account issues, billing inquiries, and system-related requests with empathy, professionalism, and a focus on first-contact resolution.
  • Utilize active listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to assess situations, determine appropriate solutions, and effectively de-escalate challenging interactions.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, actions taken, and resolutions within internal systems while maintaining thorough and organized records.
  • Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to investigate concerns, coordinate solutions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Build trusting relationships with customers through personalized communication and a service-first approach.
  • Maintain productivity, quality, attendance, and customer experience standards in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Share customer feedback, process improvement ideas, and service insights to help enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and leadership to support departmental goals and deliver consistent service excellence.

Customer Services Representative Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional post-secondary education preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience supporting customers through phone and email communication.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive, emotional, or escalated customer situations with empathy, patience, and sound judgment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and meeting performance expectations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple computer applications simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, processes, and business needs.
  • Previous remote call center, customer support, billing, or ticketing system experience is preferred.

Compensation: $19.30/hr.
