Junior Accountant
Our dynamic client is seeking an early-career accounting professional who is eager to grow their accounting career within a high-growth organization. This role is on-site in Redmond, Oregon. Candidates must be located in Central Oregon and available to work in the office.
Junior Accountant Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounts payable including invoice entry, vendor communication, payment issue resolution, and expense allocation.
- Assist with purchasing coordination by preparing purchase orders, communicating with vendors, and partnering with internal teams to support procurement needs.
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations, process employee expense reimbursements, and maintain organized financial documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support to accounting leadership, including ad hoc financial tasks and cross-functional coordination.
- Help maintain accurate accounting records while supporting evolving financial systems, processes, and ERP implementation efforts.
Junior Accountant Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; candidates actively pursuing a degree with relevant experience may also be considered.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience, including internships or early-career experience in accounting related functions.
- Working knowledge of GAAP accounting fundamentals, including general ledger concepts, expense categorization, fixed assets, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and/or QuickBooks highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
Salary: $28/hr+ (DOE)
