Inventory Coordinator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to support high-volume product operations within a fast-paced, production-driven environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing workflows, and enabling seamless coordination across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and thrives in environments where precision, communication, and continuous improvement are essential.
This role is a hybrid model in Los Angeles, California. Applicants will be required to travel locally.
Inventory Coordinator Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accuracy across multiple locations by conducting audits, reconciling discrepancies, and initiating corrective actions.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound product movement to ensure timely support of production schedules and operational needs.
- Partner cross-functionally with studio operations, logistics, merchandising, and asset management teams to align on inventory flow and priorities.
- Analyze inventory and operational data using advanced Excel skills to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Proactively identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability.
- Develop, document, and maintain inventory workflows, SOPs, and training materials to support consistent execution.
- Monitor inventory integrity across distributed locations, including virtual oversight of remote or global operations.
- Support product lifecycle processes including intake, storage, movement, return, and liquidation activities.
- Ensure inventory processes meet internal controls, security standards, and performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs).
- Communicate inventory risks, issues, and updates to stakeholders in a timely and solutions-oriented manner.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by driving process innovation and operational excellence.
Inventory Coordinator Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in inventory coordination, inventory control, or a related operations role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, auditing, and reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with experience collaborating across multiple teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in operations, supply chain, or a related field.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and high-volume operational environments.
- Experience with tools such as Tableau, Airtable, or SQL is a plus.
- Exposure to product-based industries (e.g., apparel, retail, or similar) is preferred.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
Compensation: $26.84/hr.
