This role is on-site in Springfield, Missouri.

Diesel Service Technician Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
• Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using diagnostic tools and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure timely and effective customer solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment.

Diesel Service Technician Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a heavy-duty truck or dealership environment.
• Experience with diesel engines such as Cummins or Detroit Diesel strongly preferred.
• Relevant certifications (ASE or manufacturer-specific) highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a shop setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL and flat-rate/commission experience are a plus.
