Marketing Project Coordinator
Our client is seeking a Marketing Project Coordinator to support the execution of seasonal brand marketing initiatives across a diverse, multi-market organization. This role will coordinate projects, product samples, seeding programs, and marketplace activations while partnering with creative, digital, merchandising, retail, and regional teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to keep complex workstreams moving in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Marketing Project Coordinator Responsibilities
- Coordinate seasonal marketing projects from initial planning through execution, ensuring key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines remain on track.
- Manage the end-to-end process for seasonal product samples, including ordering, allocation, tracking, inventory visibility, and distribution across internal teams and markets.
- Partner with cross-functional and regional stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate inputs, and ensure local market needs are reflected in seasonal plans.
- Support the development of seasonal briefs, project materials, leadership updates, meeting content, and post-project recaps.
- Coordinate product seeding initiatives by helping translate marketing priorities into actionable plans aligned to target consumers, products, timing, and market needs.
- Support marketplace and community marketing activations by tracking activity, execution status, outcomes, and market-level learnings.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential gaps or delivery risks, and proactively coordinate solutions with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Consolidate quantitative results and qualitative feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations for improving future campaigns and seasonal execution.
- Establish clear communication, tracking tools, and operating rhythms that help cross-functional teams stay aligned around priorities and deliverables.
- Build strong working relationships across marketing, creative, digital, merchandising, retail, and regional teams while effectively managing competing priorities and changing inputs.
Marketing Project Coordinator Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, product marketing, integrated marketing, project coordination, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting marketing initiatives across multiple markets, regions, or geographically distributed teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating seasonal marketing activities, product samples, campaign materials, or similar operational processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear briefs, status updates, and project documentation.
- Highly proactive and self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to anticipate needs before they become issues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, particularly when managing product information, timelines, deliverables, and multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with the ability to influence and gain alignment across teams without direct authority.
- Consumer-focused mindset with the ability to connect marketing execution to customer needs, business priorities, and marketplace impact.
- Comfortable working across different cultures, markets, time zones, and business environments.
- Experience using performance data and market feedback to evaluate progress, identify learnings, and inform future marketing decisions.
- Prior experience within the athletic, footwear, apparel, or broader consumer brand industry is strongly preferred.
