This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon.

Procurement Specialist Responsibilities

• Lead RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs from bid package development through supplier evaluation, in alignment with category strategies.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and conditions for mid-complexity categories.
• Draft, review, and execute contracts, renewals, amendments, and terminations while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Serve as the primary supplier contact, supporting onboarding, monitoring performance, and escalating concerns as needed.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define requirements and timelines, while identifying process improvements and cost optimization opportunities.

Procurement Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.;CPSM, CIPS, or similar procurement credentials are preferred.
• 2-3 years of direct, hands-on experience in a Procurement Specialist or Buyer role.
• Proven experience leading RFx events and negotiating service-based contracts with business stakeholders.
• Proficiency with procurement/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation: Up to $36.44/hr. (DOE)
