Sr. Footwear Product Line Manager
Our client is seeking a Sr. Footwear Product Line Manager to lead seasonal footwear initiatives from early strategy and consumer insight through product creation and market execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized product leader with strong industry awareness, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to independently bring cross-functional teams together around compelling product opportunities.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Sr. Footwear Product Line Manager Responsibilities

  • Own seasonal footwear product plans across assigned categories, concepts, and product franchises, balancing consumer needs, marketplace opportunities, and business priorities.
  • Develop strategic product briefs informed by consumer insights, industry trends, cultural relevance, and broader product direction.
  • Guide footwear initiatives through the product creation lifecycle, partnering closely with design, development, merchandising, color, graphics, and other functional teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment on product direction, key milestones, deliverables, and seasonal storytelling to support successful market execution.
  • Maintain accurate product information and planning documentation while proactively identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and keeping workstreams on schedule.
  • Gather and translate consumer and stakeholder feedback into actionable product insights, helping move ideas from initial concept through execution.
  • Develop and deliver clear, engaging presentations that communicate product strategies, concepts, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Support product and franchise strategies that strengthen existing offerings while identifying opportunities for future growth and innovation.
  • Partner with merchandising and marketplace teams to ensure product assortments and stories are relevant across channels and consumer segments.
  • Participate in occasional domestic and international travel to support product development, research, or cross-functional initiatives.

Sr. Footwear Product Line Manager Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in product line management, product creation, merchandising, product strategy, or a closely related consumer product function.
  • Strong knowledge of the footwear, fashion, retail, or related consumer products industry, including awareness of cultural and marketplace trends.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the product creation lifecycle and experience translating insights or opportunities into executable product concepts.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional workstreams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including proficiency with Keynote, PowerPoint, or similar presentation tools.
  • Self-directed and proactive working style with the ability to operate effectively with limited oversight.
  • Experience collaborating across functions such as design, development, merchandising, consumer insights, marketing, or go-to-market teams.
  • Experience with cross-functional merchandising, franchise or category management, retail environments, or consumer research/focus groups is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience within a leading footwear, athletic, fashion, or consumer brand environment is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required with equivalent relevant professional experience.

Compensation: Up to $56/hr. (DOE)
