Senior Software Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and enhance high-volume, business-critical web applications within a collaborative Agile environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong AngularJS and .NET expertise who can solve complex technical problems, contribute to application architecture, and provide guidance to other engineers while consistently delivering high-quality solutions.

This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside around the Beaverton, Oregon or Phoenix, Arizona areas.

Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain scalable web applications using AngularJS, .NET Framework 4.8+, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and related technologies.
• Participate throughout the Agile software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
• Build and enhance multi-tier enterprise applications designed to support high-volume, business-critical environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Evaluate technical requirements and proactively identify potential application performance, quality, scalability, or architectural concerns.
• Develop and maintain integrations, APIs, database components, and application services using technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows to support coding, troubleshooting, testing, and other software development activities.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, determine root causes, and implement reliable solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts across the development team.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other software engineers, sharing expertise and supporting engineering best practices.

Senior Software Engineer Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET technologies.
• Demonstrated experience developing applications with AngularJS and .NET Framework 4.8 or later.
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET and MVC frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL Server and relational database development.
• Previous experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development environment.
• Experience developing multi-tier applications designed for high-volume or mission-critical environments.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, including Angular and/or React.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework, ASP.NET Web API, or similar application integration technologies.
• Experience incorporating AI development tools, agents, or automated workflows into the software development lifecycle.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and nontechnical teams.
• Ability to independently organize priorities, manage competing responsibilities, and deliver quality work within established timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or provide technical guidance to other software engineers.
• Experience with load balancing or other technologies supporting scalable web applications is preferred.
• Advanced education or additional technical training in software engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation: $80/hr. (DOE)
