Our client is seeking an experienced Partner Sales Manager / Regional Partner Manager to drive partner-supported revenue growth across a Western U.S. enterprise territory. The ideal candidate brings strong SaaS or cloud sales experience, excellent deal-management instincts, and the ability to take full accountability for a territory and revenue target.
This role is on-site in New York City, New York. Remote applicants based in Eastern Time Zone will be considered.
Partner Sales Manager / Regional Partner Manager Responsibilities
- Own partner-attached revenue performance across an assigned enterprise territory, with accountability for pipeline development, opportunity progression, forecasting, and closed business.
- Lead partner-supported opportunities through the full sales cycle, coordinating internal sales teams and external partners to remove obstacles and drive deals to successful completion.
- Work across a diverse partner ecosystem, including resellers, distributors, systems integrators, cloud marketplaces, and technology partners, selecting the appropriate partner approach for each opportunity.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives and regional sales leadership to identify priority accounts, align partner strategies, and expand coverage across key opportunities.
- Develop and execute a territory plan that connects partner capabilities and resources with strategic accounts and revenue opportunities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the regional sales organization regarding partner capabilities, programs, transaction models, and deal structures.
- Lead joint account planning, opportunity mapping, and coordinated engagement strategies involving sales teams, partners, and prospective customers.
- Maintain an accurate weekly forecast of partner-attached opportunities, applying deal-level judgment to assess pipeline health, likelihood to close, and actions required to achieve targets.
- Manage critical deal logistics, including quarter-end execution, reseller transaction paths, and cross-functional coordination to support timely and accurate closings.
- Provide pipeline, forecast, and partner performance updates to regional sales and partner leadership through established sales cadences and business reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales Operations, Marketing, Deal Desk, Legal, Product, Solutions Engineering, and Enablement to support successful partner-led execution.
- Monitor competitive activity, market developments, and changes within the partner ecosystem to identify opportunities and strengthen regional sales strategies.
- Represent the organization at partner meetings, customer engagements, industry conferences, and other relevant events as needed.
Partner Sales Manager / Regional Partner Manager Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in partner sales, channel sales, enterprise sales, or a related revenue-generating role within a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology environment.
- Demonstrated success owning a sales territory and executing partner-attached enterprise deals from pipeline development through close.
- Strong deal-management capabilities with the ability to identify obstacles, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and maintain momentum throughout complex sales cycles.
- Experience working across multiple partner models, such as resellers, distributors, systems integrators, cloud marketplaces, and independent software or technology partners.
- Strong understanding of indirect sales, co-selling, and partner-supported enterprise sales motions.
- Experience partnering with enterprise field sales teams and supporting opportunities across multiple industries or vertical markets.
- Proven ability to own revenue targets, pipeline coverage, forecasting, and territory performance with a high degree of independence and accountability.
- Strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively with senior internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform, including managing and forecasting partner-associated pipeline.
- Ability to develop territory and account strategies that effectively align partner capabilities with priority sales opportunities.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% and reside within or effectively support a Western U.S. enterprise sales territory.
- Prior experience in a regional partner management, channel sales, or partner-attached deal execution role is preferred.
- Experience with cloud marketplace and SaaS indirect sales models is preferred.
