Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise software implementation for a public sector organization. This individual will serve as the primary representative for the organization throughout the implementation, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative leader with strong IT project management expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience guiding organizations through complex technology and change initiatives.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a large-scale ERP implementation from the client side, serving as the primary point of coordination between internal stakeholders and the implementation partner.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and facilitate communication between business units, technical resources, leadership, and third-party vendors.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
• Identify project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues that could impact timelines or project success.
• Support organizational change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption activities.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular executive updates, and ensure milestones are achieved according to schedule.
• Promote project governance, accountability, and best practices throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Project Manager Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience, including leadership of large, complex technology initiatives.
• Experience managing at least one full-cycle ERP implementation project required.
• Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies, project governance, and systems integration.
• Experience coordinating with third-party implementation partners and managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of change management principles and experience supporting organizational adoption efforts preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet for project planning, reporting, and documentation.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $60-$70/hr. (DOE)
