Purchasing Coordinator
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing, order management, and supply chain operations. This role has a fast track to more responsibilities and development.

This role serves as a key point of coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure accurate order processing, timely delivery, and effective communication throughout the purchasing lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain purchase orders and purchasing records.
  • Monitor and track orders from placement through delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment and proactive communication regarding delays or issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient order processing and shipment management.
  • Maintain purchasing documentation, certifications, reports, and supporting records.
  • Prepare recurring operational and purchasing reports.
  • Assist with inventory-related tracking and reporting activities.
  • Support issue resolution related to orders, shipments, and supplier performance.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks in support of purchasing and supply chain operations.
  • Maintain accurate data within purchasing systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Purchasing Coordinator Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, customer service, operations, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-through abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with databases, purchasing systems, ERP systems, or inventory software preferred.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and data entry processes.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Salary: $28-$32/hr + Bonus. (DOE)
