Plant General Manager
Our client is seeking a Plant General Manager who is a hands-on operational leader with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and team development. This individual will bring a collaborative leadership style, the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is strategic yet approachable, capable of balancing day-to-day operational excellence with long-term business objectives.
This role is on-site in Weston, Oregon.
Plant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead overall facility operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance.
- Develop and mentor leaders across manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and supply chain functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, operational excellence, and cost management.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.
- Partner with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives, manage budgets, and support capital improvement projects.
Plant General Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of manufacturing or operations experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of plant operations, safety programs, quality systems, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience overseeing warehousing, logistics, inventory management, and distribution activities.
Salary: $140K-$160K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
