Internal Auditor
Our client is seeking a driven and analytically minded Internal Auditor who thrives in a highly visible, cross-functional environment where curiosity, sound judgment, and strong communication are valued. This role is on-site in Dallas, Texas with occasional travel to client locations.

Internal Auditor Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit and internal controls testing activities, including documentation, walkthroughs, workpapers, and evaluation of business processes and controls.
• Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and business stakeholders to assess risk, identify process improvement opportunities, and communicate audit observations.
• Support operational audits across multiple business units, including reviewing business processes, testing effectiveness, and participating in site visits as needed.
• Assist with audit reporting activities, including summarizing findings, preparing recommendations, and participating in audit kickoff and closeout discussions.
• Contribute to special projects involving enterprise risk, compliance initiatives, and other strategic audit-related assignments.

Internal Auditor Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, or a related accounting/audit function.
• Exposure to SOX/internal controls testing and public company environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple levels of an organization.
• Willingness to travel to client locations to support both compliance and operational audit initiatives.

Salary: $80K-$90K/year. (DOE)
