Healthcare Operations Report Designer Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain executive-facing dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions that track healthcare operational performance, regulatory compliance, customer experience, and strategic initiatives.
- Build intuitive Tableau dashboards and self-service reporting tools using data from enterprise warehouses, legacy healthcare platforms, and operational systems.
- Partner closely with clinical, operations, quality, compliance, and business stakeholders to define KPI requirements, validate metric logic, and ensure consistent reporting standards across the organization.
- Translate complex operational, regulatory, and performance data into clear visual narratives that support leadership reviews, operational decision-making, and compliance reporting.
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large, complex datasets for both recurring and ad hoc reporting needs.

- Support development of scalable reporting frameworks, automation opportunities, and self-service analytics capabilities that improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and adherence to quality standards through validation processes, peer review, and stakeholder alignment.
- Present findings, recommendations, and performance insights to leadership audiences in a concise, business-friendly format.
- Contribute to broader analytics strategy discussions, including data governance, reporting standardization, and enhanced data utilization practices.
- Mentor junior analysts or reporting team members on reporting best practices, data interpretation, and visualization standards as needed.

- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to move from descriptive reporting to actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Experience defining KPI methodologies, performance measurement frameworks, and standardized reporting practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or advanced analytics methodologies is a plus.
