Enterprise Business Analyst
Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Business Analyst to support complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive operational and technology transformation across the organization. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to define business needs, facilitate enterprise-wide collaboration, and deliver scalable solutions that align with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in large-scale business analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and requirements management within highly matrixed environments.
This role is fully remote. Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah.
Enterprise Business Analyst Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and requirements gathering efforts for large, enterprise-level initiatives involving multiple business units, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and cross-functional discussions to define project vision, scope, business objectives, and operational needs.
- Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and develop future-state workflows and recommendations for improvement.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable documentation and artifacts suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partner with project managers, SMEs, architects, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between business goals, technical solutions, and project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain business requirements documents, process maps, user stories, functional specifications, business rules, and related project documentation.
- Ensure requirements are thoroughly reviewed, validated, approved, and understood by all relevant stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Support large-scale change management efforts by contributing to training materials, communications planning, and stakeholder readiness activities.
- Manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Serve as a central point of coordination and escalation for analysis-related questions, risks, and issues across multiple workstreams.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to analysts and project team members regarding best practices, methodologies, tools, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate cross-project dependencies, resource forecasting, and communication planning to support successful program execution.
- Deliver regular project status updates and communicate risks, impacts, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholder groups.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to business analysis methodologies, governance standards, tools, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to incorporate emerging technologies and innovative approaches into solution discussions and business planning activities.
Enterprise Business Analyst Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, enterprise analysis, program support, or related roles supporting large-scale initiatives.
- Proven experience leading analysis efforts on highly complex projects involving large stakeholder groups, cross-functional teams, and ambiguous business challenges.
- Strong ability to facilitate enterprise-level requirements sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and strategic planning discussions.
- Experience creating detailed process flows, future-state models, functional requirements, business rules, and enterprise documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable operational and technical solutions.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience coordinating and leading cross-functional teams while managing competing priorities, dependencies, and timelines.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments with a high degree of ownership, organization, and self-direction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive alignment across teams.
- Experience supporting organizational change management, communication planning, and training initiatives.
- Familiarity with enterprise operational processes, large-scale system implementations, and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience mentoring analysts and contributing to process improvement and best practice development.
- Strong proficiency with documentation, collaboration, and project tracking tools.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, analysis, and decision-making is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- IIBA certifications such as CBAP or CCBA are a plus.
