Business Operations Manager
Our client is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support high-visibility global initiatives within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role is ideal for a strategic and highly organized operations professional who excels at driving alignment, building scalable processes, and leading complex programs from planning through execution. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while partnering with stakeholders across brand, product, marketing, and global business teams.

This role is on-site in Playa Vista, California.

Business Operations Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead complex cross-functional programs and operational initiatives from strategy through execution within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Build and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Partner closely with teams across Brand, Product, Marketplace, Sports Marketing, Business Integration, and global geographic teams to ensure alignment and execution consistency.
  • Establish and improve scalable operational processes, tools, and workflows that drive efficiency, accountability, and high-quality delivery.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks proactively while implementing mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Facilitate communication, decision-making, and stakeholder alignment across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Track project progress, operational performance, and key deliverables while providing clear status updates and executive-level reporting.
  • Support external partner and vendor coordination, including budget tracking and operational planning activities.
  • Drive clarity around ownership, priorities, and execution within highly collaborative and evolving business environments.
  • Foster a solutions-oriented, team-focused culture that encourages collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Business Operations Manager Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business operations, program management, project management, or a related function within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, and business priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to leadership teams.
  • Strong operational and organizational skills with the ability to manage ambiguity and balance strategic and executional responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience developing scalable processes, workflows, and operational frameworks that improve team effectiveness.
  • Strong project management experience, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery tracking.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams, functions, and geographic regions.
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint/Keynote, Box, and presentation platforms.
  • Experience supporting global consumer, sports, brand, product, or marketing organizations is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working within large global consumer brands or alongside enterprise-level cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Compensation: Up to $59.15/hr. (DOE)
